A Canada-based wealth tracker this week added new software to its digital suite of financial management tools.
Montreal-born Wealthica unveiled the launch of its Family Office software, which was designed to provide financial oversight for high-net-worth families, multi-generational wealth management, and financial advisors.
Wealthica now empowers family offices and wealth managers with enhanced tools to consolidate, analyze, and oversee diverse assets across multiple portfolios, according to a statement from the firm. The Family Office version delivers advanced reporting, cross institution aggregation, and customizable portfolios, ensuring collaboration between family members, advisors, and trustees.
“Managing family wealth across multiple generations comes with unique challenges,” explains Wealthica COO Billy Kawasaki, “and our new Family Office version is designed to simplify and streamline this process.”
Clients can track investments across bank accounts, real estate, private equity, digital assets, and more in real-time via a unified dashboard. They will also receive detailed reports on asset allocation, net worth evolution, and portfolio performance, according to Kawasaki.
“By offering a centralized, transparent, and secure platform, we help families and their advisors make informed decisions with confidence,” he stated.
Last month, Wealthica revealed its Application Programming Interface, inviting other fintechs and banking institutions to integrate with the company’s tech. The API includes access to a network of 150 financial institutions in Canada, with the fintech claiming “robust security measures” and regulatory compliance across its offerings, among other features.
Jeff Matte, managing director for Wealthica Business Solutions, believes that his company’s financial API launch “marks a pivotal moment for the Canadian fintech ecosystem.”
“By opening our bank API to external partners,” he said in January, “we aim to foster innovation, streamline processes, and boost a new wave of financial solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Canadian market.”
Last year, Wealthica launched a redesigned mobile application for iOS and Android devices alongside a subscription plan called Unlimited Connect.
Wealthica, which boasts $35 Billion in aggregated assets, today has over 65,000 users.
