More than 20,000 advisors and wholesalers across North America use CapIntel’s platform, including Winnipeg’s Conquest Planning, Desjardins Financial Security Investments, and Big Five bank CIBC.
The B2B fintech company offers web-based applications that aim to improve the experience for wealth professionals and investors.
The latest adoptee of CapIntel’s financial technology is insurance and benefits provider Canada Life.
“Through our work with Canada Life, we reaffirm our commitment to innovation and enhancing client-advisor experiences for individuals across North America,” stated James Rockwood, founder and CEO of CapIntel.
Blaine Shewchuk, Executive Vice-President of Individual Wealth at Canada Life, says that “working with CapIntel has been a positive and beneficial experience for our business.”
“CapIntel adapts their tools in response to feedback,” he noted, “resulting in a great user experience, while providing valuable and transparent know-your-product capabilities and portfolio insights for our advisors and clients.”
“Through advanced technology and collaborative solutions, we aim to empower advisors and meet clients wherever they are on their financial life journeys,” Rockwood stated.
CapIntel has been working with Quadrus, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada Life, since 2021, as well as with the Investment Planning Counsel, which Canada Life acquired in 2023.
One of the nation’s oldest business entities still in operation, Canada Life was established by Hugh Baker in Ontario in 1847.
CapIntel was founded in Toronto in 2019.
