Edmonton-based proptech innovator HonestDoor is preparing to launch its most ambitious product yet: Doora, a conversational AI real estate agent designed to make navigating Canada’s housing market easier, faster, and more affordable.
Set to officially debut in 2025, Doora will serve as a 24/7 virtual agent that guides users through the complexities of real estate — from understanding home values to comparing properties — all via natural conversation.
“Doora is the next evolution of our company,” said HonestDoor founder and CEO Dan Belostotsky. “We’re leaning into AI to use our extensive data set to create an amazing service not offered anywhere else.”
Built to feel human and intuitive, Doora will deliver on-demand property summaries, trend analysis, pricing guidance, and real-time updates. Users can ask Doora to explain sales histories, break down local market dynamics, compare nearby listings, and even provide rationale behind valuations.
A demo of Doora is now available online, and early access will be offered to users who sign up.
The announcement comes alongside HonestDoor’s newly redesigned AI Property Comparable Reports, which provide machine learning-powered pricing estimates, one-year projections, confidence scores, and visualized data on active and historical comps for $20 per report.
HonestDoor, which operates as both a tech platform and licensed brokerage in most Canadian provinces, has seen rapid adoption. Nearly 100,000 Canadians subscribe to monthly HonestDoor Price updates, and the platform is projected to surpass 1 million monthly visitors in 2025.
With Doora, HonestDoor aims to further democratize real estate by placing personalized expertise into every user’s pocket.
“This is what real estate should look like: clear, conversational, and available on your terms,” said Belostotsky.
