Purpose Investments, the firm behind the world’s first spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, has launched a new exchange-traded fund offering direct physical exposure to Solana (SOL), one of the fastest-growing blockchain platforms.
The Purpose Solana ETF, trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the tickers SOLL (CAD hedged), SOLL.B (CAD non-hedged), and SOLL.U (USD non-hedged), is the first ETF globally to offer regulated Solana access with native staking yield.
This latest addition to Purpose’s digital asset suite marks a significant milestone for both the firm and the broader crypto investment landscape.
Purpose, Canada’s largest digital asset ETF manager, is leveraging its proprietary in-house validator infrastructure to provide investors with efficient access to Solana’s staking rewards—eliminating the need to manage crypto wallets or navigate decentralized platforms.

By offering exposure to SOL within a secure ETF structure that qualifies for registered accounts like RRSPs and TFSAs, Purpose aims to bring institutional-grade crypto investing to a broader audience.
