Chexy, a Toronto-founded, female-led fintech platform, has partnered with Aeroplan to help Canadians earn travel rewards on everyday essentials like rent, bills, and taxes — purchases that typically don’t offer points.
Starting today, Aeroplan members can use Chexy to pay routine expenses with their credit card and earn Aeroplan points in return. The collaboration positions Chexy alongside some of Aeroplan’s top partners, such as Starbucks, Uber, LCBO, and Parkland’s national chain of convenience and fuel locations.
“Our partnership with Aeroplan marks a game-changing moment for Canadian consumers to unlock value from the largest payments they make,” said Lizaveta Akhvledziani Carew, CEO and Co-Founder of Chexy. “At a time when the cost of living is top of mind, this partnership brings a more rewarding way to earn—potentially doubling or even tripling rewards each year.”

The move comes as Aeroplan continues expanding its ecosystem to offer members more opportunities to earn on everyday spending.
“We know our members are looking for more ways to boost their points on everyday spending,” said Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty & Product at Air Canada. “Our partnership with Chexy helps us unlock new, high-impact earning categories, helping our members get closer to their next trip — faster.”
To mark the launch, Chexy is offering Aeroplan members up to 10,000 bonus points through a series of actions completed by July 15, 2025. New users earn 2,000 points for making their first payment, and can accumulate more through ongoing use — including recurring payments and reaching payment milestones within the first six months.
Aeroplan credit cardholders who pay via Chexy will earn even more points, adding extra incentive for members to leverage their existing cards through the new platform.
