Canada Post is expanding its financial services offerings with the national launch of the Canada Post MyMoney™ Account, a new spending and savings account designed to improve financial accessibility for Canadians.
In partnership with Canadian fintech KOHO, the MyMoney Account provides low-fee and no-fee plans, cash-back rewards, and credit-building tools. Customers can also earn market-leading interest on their balances and deposit funds through the KOHO app or in person at Canada Post locations.
“Canadians deserve financial services that are fair, transparent, and accessible,” Canada Post stated in the announcement. “With our extensive network of corporate and franchise retail locations, we are uniquely positioned to meet the evolving needs of Canadians, especially those in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.”
Canada Post handles millions of financial transactions each year, including money orders, remittances, and prepaid reloadable cards. The MyMoney Account is part of a broader effort to expand financial inclusion by leveraging its existing infrastructure.
