Canadian commerce solutions provider Moneris has partnered with the UK’s largest independent payment technology provider, Cardstream Group, to enhance its payment facilitation capabilities.
The agreement will see Moneris leverage Cardstream’s Payment Facilitation-as-a-Service (PFaaS) platform, enabling its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Independent Sales Organisation (ISO) partners to strengthen their presence in the Canadian market.
“We’ve built a group portfolio of over 150 channel partners who use and distribute our white-label FinTech as their own,” said Adam Sharpe, CEO of Cardstream Group.
“Our PayFac-as-a-Service platform is the quickest and most versatile way for companies to enter this rapidly growing billion-dollar global marketplace. We are delighted to have been chosen by Moneris as its technology provider.”
Patrick Diab, Chief Product Officer at Moneris, echoed this sentiment, stating, “Moneris is pleased to work together with Cardstream, leveraging its leading-edge platform to support our payment facilitation services. These services will enable ISV and ISO partners to enter the Canadian market or expand their commerce solutions, beginning in the second quarter of 2025.”
Cardstream, known for its comprehensive financial services suite, provides solutions that include onboarding verification, payment connectivity, transaction monitoring, and payment facilitation. The partnership aligns with Moneris’ strategy to enhance commerce solutions across Canada while providing seamless access for businesses looking to scale their operations.
