Alberta’s thriving tech scene will take centre stage this November as the much-anticipated Launch Party of Innovation Week YYC brings together the city’s most promising tech startups.
That list includes Calgary’s TraceRent. The fledgling firm, established earlier this year, offers a digital pricing solution tailored to real estate companies seeking to maximize revenues from rental properties.
“In today’s fast-paced market, staying ahead of the curve is essential,” the startup posits. “Our cutting-edge AI powered platform empowers real estate companies to optimize their pricing strategy and stay ahead of the competition.”
The artificial intelligence product promises daily reviews of pricing for each unit alongside monthly reports of rent levels, occupancy rates, and other metrics. The prop-tech solution also offers recommended pricing strategies that are configured to one’s property goals and can adapt to shifts in market conditions and business tactics.
“Our software harnesses advanced algorithms and data insights to determine the most profitable rental pricing for your properties,” the company says. “By continuously analyzing data trends, we ensure your pricing strategy stays ahead of the curve, maximizing your returns.”
Specifically, TraceRent says its services have thus far resulted in an average 6% surge in revenue and 2% uplift in occupancy rates across 20 partners managing a combined 20,000 units.
This year’s Launch Party, to be held at Big Four Roadhouse, is the culminating event of Innovation Week YYC 2024. The Top 10 startups will have the opportunity to pitch their startup to an audience of investors, potential partners, and tech enthusiasts, giving them the platform to secure investment and business connections.
Calgary.tech partner Platform Calgary hand-selected TraceRent and the other startups based on their potential to disrupt industries and push technological boundaries.
