A Vancouver-based fintech startup has been named digital innovator of the year by CrossTech at the 2022 Innovation Awards.
Digital assets infrastructure and liquidity provider Aquanow announced today that the judges at CrossTech have recognized the company’s accomplishments with the Digital Innovation Award for 2022.
Winners were announced live at the CrossTech World 2022 event in Miami last night.
“Digital asset markets are 24/7, so our team works around the clock,” said Phil Sham, CEO of Aquanow. “I’m proud to see them get recognition through this award.”
The global award—open to all fintechs who demonstrate significant and tangible value creation in the international payments industry—celebrates “outstanding performance and innovation.” Winners are recognized as having “delivered new solutions and services for the global flow of capital.”
For its part, BC’s Aquanow strives to be the trusted point of access for fintech companies and financial institutions into the digital asset ecosystem, where blockchain technology has demonstrated considerable advantages for payments and remittance.
“We will continue to advance innovation in global capital flows through our proprietary infrastructure,” affirmed Sham.
Established in 2018, Aquanow currently has over 70 team members.
