Startup Open House returns later this month for its 6th time and promises to be the biggest tech community event in Canada.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit the offices of hundreds of tech companies, meet some of the most inspiring CEOs and founders in the technology hubs across the country, and discover the culture of startups redefining Canadian entrepreneurship and shaping the future of business.
This year, the event will take place in 7 Canadian cities: Kitchener-Waterloo on September 15th, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Quebec on September 20th, and Toronto and Vancouver on September 27th.
With a growing number of success stories and increased awareness for the startup sector, both nationally and internationally, the mission of Startup Open House of getting companies and people connected has become more essential than ever.
The event opens the startup community to attendees from a broad range of backgrounds to inspire future risk-takers and create a local community of support for innovative companies.
“Startup Open House is one of the most important annual startup events in Canada, exposing companies nationwide to thousands of new people each year,” says Satish Kanwar, Vice President of Product at Shopify and an ambassador of Startup Open House in Toronto.
“The broad awareness and in-person engagement that the event facilitates is critical to help homegrown companies find talent, partners, and customers all around them. By opening doors for anyone to learn about startups in Canada, this event is also simply a celebration of the diversity and richness of our ecosystem.”
